High Voltage Power Supplies for High Power Applications
The XP Glassman name has become synonymous with high reliability, dedication to technology development, lean manufacturing principles and customer support which is second to none within the power supply industry.
XP Glassman are able to offer a solution to most high voltage DC power supply requirements either from arguably the largest standard range of high voltage power supplies within the industry, or indeed by adjustment, modification or complete custom design and manufacture. Standard models include output voltages up to 500 kVDC with output power ratings up to 200 kW, all with our 3 year warranty
XP Power introduces rugged wide-range input 6/10W power modules for industrial and ITE applications
XP Power today introduced two new series of wide input range chassis and DIN rail mount DC-DC converters that offer simple and rapid installation into a wide variety of industrial and ITE applications.
The DTE06 and DTE10 DC-DC converters provide 6W and 10W of power and offer a 4:1 input range, giving a wide tolerance for fluctuating supplies. With nominal inputs of 12/24VDC and 24/48VDC the series cover inputs between 9.0VDC and 75.0VDC.
DIN Rail DC/DC Converterswith 15 + 30 W
MTM Power GmbH, the specialist for individual power supplies, offerswith the series HSDprimary switched DIN rail moduleswith DC input voltage. The devices offer an input voltage range of 20...72 VDC and allow efficient solutions for different applications where low power is needed. Due to the thermoselective vacuum encapsulation(EP 1 987 708, U.S. Patent No. 8,821,778 B2)the devices offer a best possible protection against dust and humidity and are especially robust against mechanical stresses like shock and vibration.
The LABEL•EYE® is a photoelectric sensor
The LABEL•EYE® is a photoelectric sensor designed specifically to sense labels on a roll. Since the LABEL•EYE® is a one-touch AUTOSET sensor and not the conventional "teach mode" sensor, set-up is simple. Position the gap between the labels directly under the sensor's sight guide and push the "Normal" or "Translucent" button. The sensor does the rest, adjusting itself to the perfect setting. Sensing labels has never been easier.
The SMARTEYE® MARK II sensor by TRI-TRONICS
The SMARTEYE® MARK II sensor is one of TRI-TRONICS’ most popular photoelectric sensors. The SMARTEYE® MARK II features extremely high gain combined with very high speed. These high performance sensors were designed to resolve the most difficult sensing tasks...the hallmark of all TRI-TRONICS SMARTEYE® sensors. In addition to superior high gain/high speed, the SMARTEYE® MARK II is equipped with many new improvements. Among the many features included in the design of the SMARTEYE® MARK II , none is more important than the EDR® circuit. Now, thanks to the addition of EDR® (Enhanced Dynamic Range), the dynamic operating range has been extended and background suppression has been enhanced. Also included in the design of the new SMARTEYE® MARK II are all of the proven features included in all SMARTEYE® sensors, including our unique Contrast Indicator.
SMT Test Points
Vero Technologies, the leading manufacturer of test points and terminal pins with an estimated market share in excess of 50% in the PTH space, has a complementary range of SMT devices suitable for use with high-speed placement machines. Four industry-standard sized loop terminals, the 0603 (1.6 x 0.80 x 1.15mm), the 0805 (2.0 x 1.25 x 1.45mm) and the 1206 (3.2 x 1.60 x 2.0mm) are initially available; all are compatible with industry-standard probes, clips and hooks. Additional designs and sizes will follow during the coming months. All sizes are available in a nickel-plated stainless steel construction; the largest size is also available in a copper alloy, allowing customers to choose the material that best fits their production process.
Verotec helps keep North Sea oil platform safe
Fire and gas detection systems are vital to give advanced warning of life safety and facility protection threats in hazardous areas. Oil rigs in the North Sea are located in some of the most inhospitable environmental conditions to be found, adding to the issues faced by operators in ensuring 24/7/365 operation. Verotec has recently supplied a large number of custom 19” fan trays to Traycar Systems, who will be retrofitting them to legacy Ferranti control cabinets that date back to 1983 when the rig was first commissioned. The upgrade is intended to provide many more years of safe and reliable operation with the minimum of disruption during the installation.
